SA Elections

There are four elected positions for the Executive Council:

President
VP Academic
VP Student Life + Development
VP Activities

These elections are held in March each year with the new Executive taking office May 1st until the following April 30th. Criteria for the Executive positions and Council Representatives is as follows:

  1. Must be a member of the Students’ Association, registered in one or more credit classes at the College
  2. Have and maintain a 2.5 GPA, (first year student running for Council Representative are not required to have 2.5 GPA but are required to maintain it during their term if elected)
  3. Students on probation or suspension will not be permitted to run in Students’ Association Elections.

Council Representative elections take place in September and Council Representatives are in office from October 1st to April 30th. Details for all job descriptions for both Executive and Council positions are available in the Students’ Association office.
